Description

Ingredients

  • 2 cups cooked rice, medium-grain
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • ½ cup finely grated parmesan cheese
  • ½ cup cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup full-fat milk
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon salt, adjust to taste
  • ¼ teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
  • ¼ cup breadcrumbs (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine cooked rice, mozzarella, cheddar, parmesan, cream cheese, milk, butter, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper until well mixed.
  3. Grease an oven-safe baking dish with butter.
  4. Transfer the mixture into the baking dish and smooth the top. Sprinkle breadcrumbs on top if desired.
  5. Bake for 20-25 minutes until cheese is melted, bubbly, and lightly golden.
  6. Remove from oven and let rest for 5 minutes.
  7. Scoop onto plates and serve hot.
