Description

Golden flaky puff pastry filled with a savory mixture of mushrooms and mixed nuts, cooked crisp in the air fryer.


Ingredients

  • 1 large puff pastry sheet, thawed
  • 300 grams mushrooms, finely chopped
  • 1/2 cup mixed nuts, finely chopped
  • 1 small onion, finely diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon fresh thyme, chopped
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon plant milk for brushing

Instructions

  1. Preheat air fryer to 180 degrees Celsius.
  2. Sauté onion and garlic in olive oil until soft.
  3. Add mushrooms and cook until moisture evaporates.
  4. Stir in nuts, soy sauce, thyme, salt, and pepper, cook briefly and cool.
  5. Place filling along one side of pastry, fold over, and seal edges.
  6. Brush with plant milk and air fry 15 to 18 minutes until golden.
  7. Rest 5 minutes before slicing and serving.

  • Cool filling before wrapping.
  • Seal pastry tightly to prevent leaks.
