  4. Gradually whisk in chicken broth, ensuring no lumps form.
  5. Add Cajun seasoning, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper.
  6. Return sausage to the skillet and simmer gravy for 10-15 minutes until thickened.
  7. Garnish with fresh parsley if desired and serve over biscuits or rice.
