Crispy, creamy, and a little spicy, these Bang Bang Shrimp Stuffed bites are packed with flavor and perfect for any occasion. Sweet chili sauce, creamy mayo, and crunchy shrimp come together in a handheld delight.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1/2 cup cornstarch
  • 1/2 cup buttermilk
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/4 cup sweet chili sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sriracha sauce
  • 1 teaspoon rice vinegar
  • 8 lettuce cups or mini slider buns
  • 2 green onions, sliced
  • 1 teaspoon sesame seeds
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 2 cups frying oil

Instructions

  1. Heat oil in a skillet over medium-high heat until hot and shimmering.
  2. In one bowl, mix cornstarch, salt, and pepper. In another bowl, pour buttermilk.
  3. Dip shrimp into buttermilk, then coat evenly in cornstarch.
  4. Fry shrimp in small batches for 2–3 minutes per side until golden and crispy.
  5. In a separate bowl, whisk mayonnaise, sweet chili sauce, sriracha, and rice vinegar until smooth.
  6. Toss the fried shrimp gently in the sauce until fully coated.
  7. Arrange shrimp in lettuce cups or slider buns.
  8. Sprinkle with green onions and sesame seeds, then serve immediately.

  • For extra crunch, double-fry the shrimp briefly before saucing.
  • Add lime juice for a bright, fresh twist.
  • To make it lighter, air fry or bake the shrimp instead of deep frying.
