- 1 large apple, grated
- 1 cup Greek yogurt
- 1/2 cup milk (dairy or plant-based)
- 1 to 2 tablespoons honey
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1/4 cup chopped nuts (almonds or walnuts)
- 1 tablespoon chia seeds
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- Pinch of salt
Instructions
- In a large mixing bowl, combine rolled oats, yogurt, milk, honey, lemon juice, cinnamon, and salt.
- Grate the apple and immediately mix it into the oat mixture.
- Add chia seeds and half of the chopped nuts. Stir well.
- Transfer the mixture into jars or an airtight container, ensuring oats are submerged.
- Refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight to soak.
- Before serving, stir well and top with remaining nuts and extra honey if desired.
