Description

Soft, fluffy rolls filled with creamy cheesecake and juicy blueberries, perfect for breakfast, brunch, or dessert.


Ingredients

  • 4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup warm whole milk
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 1/4 teaspoons instant yeast
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 1/2 cups fresh blueberries
  • 1 teaspoon lemon zest

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a baking dish.
  2. Mix warm milk, yeast, and sugar. Add eggs, butter, salt, and flour. Knead until dough forms. Let rise until doubled in size.
  3. Roll out dough into a rectangle on a floured surface.
  4. Spread cream cheese mixed with powdered sugar, vanilla, and lemon zest over dough. Sprinkle with blueberries.
  5. Roll dough into a log and slice into rolls. Place in baking dish and let rise 30 minutes.
  6. Bake 25–30 minutes until golden brown.
  7. Cool slightly, drizzle with glaze if desired, and serve warm.

Notes

  • Brush rolls with melted butter before baking for a golden finish.
  • Don’t rush the rise, fluffy rolls need time.
  • Frozen blueberries can be used if well drained.
