- 3 large eggs
- ½ cup whole milk
- ½ cup olive oil
- 1 cup shredded Gruyère cheese
- ¾ cup cubed ham
- ½ cup sliced green olives
- ¼ cup chopped sun-dried tomatoes
- 1 tablespoon fresh thyme leaves
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ¼ teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease or line a 9×5-inch loaf pan with parchment paper.
- In a mixing bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, salt, and pepper.
- In another bowl, whisk the eggs, milk, and olive oil until smooth.
- Combine the wet and dry ingredients, mixing gently just until combined.
- Fold in cheese, ham, olives, sun-dried tomatoes, and thyme.
- Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and smooth the top.
- Bake for 45 to 50 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- Let the cake cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
- Slice and serve warm or at room temperature.
