Ingredients
Scale
- 8 ounces dried flat rice noodles, softened and drained
- 12 ounces beef sirloin, thinly sliced
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 cup fresh bean sprouts
- 3 green onions, chopped
- 3 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 1 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
Instructions
- Place a large skillet or wok over medium high heat until hot.
- In a small bowl, mix soy sauce and oyster sauce, then set aside.
- Add vegetable oil to the hot skillet and sauté minced garlic until fragrant.
- Add thinly sliced beef and cook quickly until just browned.
- Toss in softened rice noodles and pour the sauce mixture over them. Stir well to coat evenly.
- Stir fry for 3 to 4 minutes until noodles are heated through and slightly crisp at the edges.
- Fold in bean sprouts and half of the chopped green onions.
- Sprinkle shredded mozzarella evenly over the top and cover the skillet briefly until melted.
- Remove from heat, garnish with remaining green onions and black pepper, then serve immediately.
Notes
- Use high heat to achieve lightly crisp noodles without overcooking them.
- Slice the beef very thinly so it remains tender and cooks quickly.
- Add the cheese at the end to prevent it from becoming oily.
- Reheat leftovers in a skillet for best texture.
