- 2 cups cooked, shredded chicken
- 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of chicken soup
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 tbsp butter
- 1/4 cup chopped parsley (optional, for garnish)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
- Prepare the Rice-a-Roni according to package instructions, using the butter and water it calls for. Set aside once cooked.
- In a large bowl, combine the cooked Rice-a-Roni, shredded chicken, cream of chicken soup, sour cream, milk, garlic powder, and half the shredded cheese. Mix until well combined.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Pour the mixture into the prepared baking dish and spread evenly.
- Top with the remaining shredded cheese.
- Bake uncovered for 25–30 minutes or until bubbly and heated through.
- Garnish with chopped parsley if desired and serve hot.
