Description

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F and lightly grease a 9×13 baking pan.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  3. Add the milk, vegetable oil, eggs, and vanilla extract, then mix until smooth.
  4. Carefully stir in the hot water until the batter is fully combined.
  5. Pour the batter into the prepared pan and bake for 30 to 35 minutes, until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  6. While the cake is still warm, poke holes all over using the handle of a wooden spoon.
  7. Pour the sweetened condensed milk evenly over the cake, followed by the chocolate syrup, allowing it to soak into the holes.
  8. Let the cake cool, then spread the chocolate frosting evenly over the top.
  9. Chill briefly, slice, and serve.
