Description

A traditional no bake classic tiramisu layered with espresso soaked ladyfingers, creamy mascarpone filling, and a dusting of cocoa powder.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 16 ounces mascarpone cheese, room temperature
  • 4 large egg yolks
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 1/2 cups strong brewed espresso, cooled
  • 24 to 30 ladyfinger cookies
  • 2 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, whisk egg yolks and sugar until pale and thick.
  2. Add mascarpone and mix until smooth.
  3. In a separate bowl, whip heavy cream until soft peaks form, then gently fold into mascarpone mixture.
  4. Pour cooled espresso into a shallow dish.
  5. Quickly dip ladyfingers into espresso and arrange in a single layer in a dish.
  6. Spread half of the mascarpone cream over the ladyfingers.
  7. Repeat with another layer of dipped ladyfingers and remaining cream.
  8. Cover and refrigerate for at least 6 hours or overnight.
  9. Dust with cocoa powder before serving.

Notes

  • Do not over soak ladyfingers.
  • Chill thoroughly for best texture.
  • Use high quality cocoa powder for dusting.
