Description
A traditional no bake classic tiramisu layered with espresso soaked ladyfingers, creamy mascarpone filling, and a dusting of cocoa powder.
Ingredients

- 16 ounces mascarpone cheese, room temperature
- 4 large egg yolks
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 1/2 cups strong brewed espresso, cooled
- 24 to 30 ladyfinger cookies
- 2 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
Instructions
- In a bowl, whisk egg yolks and sugar until pale and thick.
- Add mascarpone and mix until smooth.
- In a separate bowl, whip heavy cream until soft peaks form, then gently fold into mascarpone mixture.
- Pour cooled espresso into a shallow dish.
- Quickly dip ladyfingers into espresso and arrange in a single layer in a dish.
- Spread half of the mascarpone cream over the ladyfingers.
- Repeat with another layer of dipped ladyfingers and remaining cream.
- Cover and refrigerate for at least 6 hours or overnight.
- Dust with cocoa powder before serving.
Notes
- Do not over soak ladyfingers.
- Chill thoroughly for best texture.
- Use high quality cocoa powder for dusting.
- Best enjoyed within 3 days.
