- 2 cups fresh orange juice (about 4 to 6 oranges)
- 1 teaspoon orange zest
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1 bottle (750 ml) sparkling wine, chilled
- 2 tablespoons granulated sugar (optional)
- Orange slices for garnish
Instructions
- Chill champagne flutes in the refrigerator before serving.
- In a pitcher, whisk together fresh orange juice, orange zest, vanilla extract, heavy cream, and granulated sugar if using until fully combined.
- Remove chilled flutes from the refrigerator.
- Fill each flute halfway with the orange cream mixture.
- Slowly top each glass with chilled sparkling wine, pouring gently to prevent overflow.
- Stir gently once to combine without losing carbonation.
- Garnish with a fresh orange slice and serve immediately.
Notes
- Use freshly squeezed orange juice for the brightest flavor.
- Keep all ingredients chilled to maintain fizz.
- For a non alcoholic version, substitute sparkling cider for sparkling wine.
