Description

A bright and bubbly creamsicle mimosa made with fresh orange juice, vanilla, cream, and sparkling wine. Smooth, citrusy, and perfect for brunch celebrations.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups fresh orange juice (about 4 to 6 oranges)
  • 1 teaspoon orange zest
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1 bottle (750 ml) sparkling wine, chilled
  • 2 tablespoons granulated sugar (optional)
  • Orange slices for garnish

Instructions

  1. Chill champagne flutes in the refrigerator before serving.
  2. In a pitcher, whisk together fresh orange juice, orange zest, vanilla extract, heavy cream, and granulated sugar if using until fully combined.
  3. Remove chilled flutes from the refrigerator.
  4. Fill each flute halfway with the orange cream mixture.
  5. Slowly top each glass with chilled sparkling wine, pouring gently to prevent overflow.
  6. Stir gently once to combine without losing carbonation.
  7. Garnish with a fresh orange slice and serve immediately.
