  • lbs boneless, skinless chicken breasts, sliced
  • 1 tablespoon Cajun seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 1½ cups heavy cream
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes (optional)
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Cook the linguine according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. Season sliced chicken with Cajun seasoning, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper.
  3. In a large skillet over medium-high heat, heat olive oil. Add the chicken and cook for 5–6 minutes, or until browned and cooked through. Remove from the pan and set aside.
  4. In the same skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add minced garlic and cook for 1 minute until fragrant.
  5. Sprinkle in flour and whisk continuously for 1–2 minutes to form a roux.
  6. Slowly pour in heavy cream while whisking to prevent lumps. Simmer for 2–3 minutes until slightly thickened.
  7. Stir in mozzarella and Parmesan cheese. Mix until melted and smooth. Add red pepper flakes if using.
  8. Add cooked linguine and chicken back to the pan. Toss until everything is coated in the creamy sauce.
  9. Garnish with fresh chopped parsley and serve warm.

  • For extra richness, add a splash of chicken broth or pasta water to loosen the sauce.
