Ingredients

  • 25 ounces frozen cheese ravioli
  • 1 pound ground beef or Italian sausage
  • 1 jar (24 oz) marinara sauce
  • 1 cup ricotta cheese
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • Fresh basil or parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Set the crockpot to low and lightly spray the inside with nonstick cooking spray.
  2. In a skillet, brown the ground beef or sausage with onion and garlic until fully cooked. Drain any excess fat.
  3. Stir in marinara sauce, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  4. Spread a thin layer of sauce in the bottom of the crockpot.
  5. Layer frozen ravioli over the sauce, then spoon ricotta and sprinkle mozzarella and parmesan.
  6. Repeat layers until all ingredients are used, finishing with a generous layer of cheese on top.
  7. Cover and cook on low for 4–5 hours, or until ravioli is tender and cheese is bubbly.
  8. Turn off heat and let rest for 10 minutes before serving. Garnish with basil or parsley.
