Description
A vibrant, garlicky broccolini side dish that’s crisp-tender, packed with flavor, and ready in just 10 minutes.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 bunch broccolini (about 8 ounces)
- 3 cloves garlic, thinly sliced
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes
- 1/2 teaspoon salt (or to taste)
- Freshly cracked black pepper, to taste
- 1 lemon wedge (optional, for serving)
Instructions
- Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat until hot.
- While the pan heats, rinse the broccolini and trim the tough ends.
- Add olive oil to the hot pan and let it shimmer.
- Add the broccolini and cook for 2–3 minutes, turning occasionally.
- Add sliced garlic and red pepper flakes. Cook another 2–3 minutes until broccolini is tender-crisp and garlic is golden.
- Season with salt and black pepper. Squeeze lemon wedge over the top if desired.
- Transfer to a serving plate and enjoy immediately.
Notes
- Don’t overcrowd the pan to ensure proper searing.
- Add garlic halfway through cooking to avoid burning.
- Leftovers are great in pasta, stir-fry, or omelets.
