Ingredients

  • Sushi Rice: 2 cups cooked
  • Rice Vinegar: 2 tablespoons
  • Sugar: 1 tablespoon
  • Salt: 1 teaspoon
  • Imitation Crab Meat: 1 1/2 cups, shredded
  • Cream Cheese: 4 ounces, softened
  • Kewpie Mayonnaise: 1/2 cup
  • Sriracha (optional): 1 tablespoon
  • Furikake Seasoning: 2 tablespoons
  • Soy Sauce: 1 tablespoon
  • Green Onions: 2 stalks, finely chopped
  • Seaweed Sheets (Nori): for serving

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and lightly grease a baking dish.
  2. In a bowl, mix rice vinegar, sugar, and salt into warm cooked sushi rice.
  3. In another bowl, combine shredded imitation crab, cream cheese, Kewpie mayo, and sriracha.
  4. Spread the seasoned rice evenly into the baking dish and sprinkle half of the furikake.
  5. Layer the crab mixture on top of the rice and spread evenly. Sprinkle the remaining furikake on top.
  6. Bake for 15–20 minutes, until the top is golden and bubbly.
  7. Garnish with chopped green onions and serve with roasted seaweed sheets.
