Description

Golden, crispy fried cheesecake roll-ups filled with a creamy, sweet cheesecake center and rolled in warm cinnamon sugar. A fun and indulgent dessert that’s quick to make and always a hit.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 8 small flour tortillas
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar (for coating)
  • 2 cups oil for frying

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oil in a frying pan over medium heat until it reaches 350°F.
  2. In a bowl, beat softened cream cheese, granulated sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth and creamy.
  3. Line a plate with paper towels to drain fried roll-ups after cooking.
  4. Spread a spoonful of cream cheese mixture onto each tortilla, roll it up tightly, and seal the edge.
  5. Fry roll-ups in small batches until golden brown, about 1–2 minutes per side.
  6. Mix sugar and cinnamon in a shallow dish, then immediately roll hot fried roll-ups in the mixture.
  7. Serve warm with optional chocolate or caramel drizzle.

Notes

  • Seal the rolls tightly to avoid filling leaks while frying.
  • Work in small batches to maintain oil temperature.
  • Roll in cinnamon sugar while still hot for the best coating.
  • Reheat leftovers in an oven or air fryer for crispiness.
