Instructions

  1. Heat a wok or large skillet over medium-high heat until hot.
  2. Mix soy sauce, sesame oil, and water or broth in a small bowl and set aside.
  3. Add vegetable oil to the wok, swirling to coat.
  4. Stir-fry minced garlic and ginger for 20–30 seconds until aromatic.
  5. Add bok choy stems first, cook for 1–2 minutes, then add leaves and sauce mixture, tossing until just wilted.
  6. Sprinkle with sesame seeds and adjust seasoning with salt if needed.
