- 1 pound flank steak, thinly sliced against the grain
- 1 pound fresh green beans, trimmed
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 3 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 1 teaspoon sesame oil
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 cup water
Instructions
- Preheat a large skillet or wok over medium high heat.
- In a bowl, combine sliced beef, soy sauce, oyster sauce, cornstarch, black pepper, and water. Mix well.
- Add vegetable oil to the hot pan.
- Add beef in a single layer and cook for 2 to 3 minutes until browned. Remove and set aside.
- Add green beans to the same pan and cook for 4 to 5 minutes until slightly blistered.
- Add minced garlic and stir for 30 seconds.
- Return beef to the pan and cook for another 2 to 3 minutes until sauce thickens.
- Drizzle sesame oil, stir, and serve hot.

- Slice beef thinly against the grain for tenderness.
- Cook over high heat to keep green beans crisp.
- Do not overcrowd the pan to avoid steaming.
