Ingredients

  • 1 pound flank steak, thinly sliced against the grain
  • 1 pound fresh green beans, trimmed
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 cup water

Instructions

  1. Preheat a large skillet or wok over medium high heat.
  2. In a bowl, combine sliced beef, soy sauce, oyster sauce, cornstarch, black pepper, and water. Mix well.
  3. Add vegetable oil to the hot pan.
  4. Add beef in a single layer and cook for 2 to 3 minutes until browned. Remove and set aside.
  5. Add green beans to the same pan and cook for 4 to 5 minutes until slightly blistered.
  6. Add minced garlic and stir for 30 seconds.
  7. Return beef to the pan and cook for another 2 to 3 minutes until sauce thickens.
  8. Drizzle sesame oil, stir, and serve hot.
