- 120 grams plain yogurt
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 4 garlic cloves, minced
- 2 teaspoons ground cumin
- 2 teaspoons ground paprika
- 1 teaspoon ground coriander
- 1 teaspoon ground turmeric
- 1.5 teaspoons salt
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
- In a large bowl, mix the yogurt, olive oil, minced garlic, cumin, paprika, coriander, turmeric, salt, and black pepper until smooth.
- Add the chicken thighs to the bowl and coat them evenly with the marinade.
- Heat a heavy skillet over medium-high heat and lightly oil the surface.
- Place the marinated chicken into the hot skillet in a single layer.
- Cook for 5 to 6 minutes per side until deeply browned and fully cooked.
- Remove the chicken from the pan and let it rest for a few minutes.
- Slice thinly and serve hot.
Notes
- For deeper flavor, marinate the chicken for several hours or overnight.
- Cook in batches if needed to avoid overcrowding the pan.
