Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F and lightly grease six small ramekins.

- Carefully pour the caramel evenly into the bottom of each prepared ramekin.
- Spoon the batter gently over the caramel, filling each ramekin about three quarters full.
- Place the ramekins on a baking sheet and bake for 25 minutes until the cakes are set.
- Remove from the oven and let cool for 5 minutes.
- Run a knife around the edges, invert onto plates, and serve warm.
