Ingredients
- Beef sirloin, 200 grams, thinly sliced
- Soy sauce, 2 tablespoons
- Brown sugar, 1 tablespoon
- Garlic, 2 cloves, minced
- Sesame oil, 1 teaspoon
- Butter, 2 tablespoons, softened
- White sandwich bread, 4 slices
- Mozzarella cheese, 120 grams, shredded
- Green onions, 2 stalks, finely sliced
Instructions
- Heat a nonstick skillet over medium heat.
- In a small bowl, mix soy sauce, brown sugar, garlic, and sesame oil until well combined.
- Add the beef to the skillet and cook briefly until just browned.
- Pour the sauce over the beef and cook until glossy and slightly caramelized, then remove from heat.
- Wipe the skillet clean and reduce heat to medium low.
- Butter one side of each bread slice.
- Place two slices butter-side down in the skillet, add mozzarella cheese, cooked beef, and green onions, then top with remaining bread slices butter-side up.
- Cook until golden on both sides and cheese is fully melted.
- Remove from skillet, slice, and serve warm.
