- 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breast, cut into bite-sized pieces
- Zest and juice of 1 lemon
- 1/2 tsp Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 1/2 tsp paprika
- 3 tbsp butter, divided
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- Fresh parsley, chopped, for garnish
- 8 oz linguine
- 2 tbsp butter
- 3/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- Fresh parsley, chopped, for garnish
Instructions
- Cook linguine according to package directions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- In a bowl, season chicken with lemon zest, lemon juice, Italian seasoning, paprika, salt, and pepper.
- Heat 2 tablespoons of butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add chicken and cook for 5–6 minutes until golden and cooked through. Add minced garlic and cook for another 30 seconds. Remove chicken and set aside.
- In the same skillet, reduce heat to medium and melt 2 tablespoons of butter. Stir in heavy cream, garlic powder, Parmesan cheese, salt, and pepper. Simmer for 2–3 minutes until creamy and smooth.
- Add cooked linguine to the sauce and toss to coat. Return chicken to the skillet and gently mix everything together.
- Garnish with fresh parsley and serve immediately.
