Ingredients

  • 3 garlic cloves, thinly sliced
  • Zest of 1 lemon
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, finely chopped
  • 1 tablespoon fresh thyme leaves
  • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
  • 1/2 teaspoon sea salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon freshly cracked black pepper

Instructions

  1. Add the olive oil to a shallow serving bowl.
  2. Stir in the sliced garlic, lemon zest, parsley, thyme, red pepper flakes, salt, and black pepper.
  3. Mix gently until all ingredients are evenly distributed.
  4. Let the oil rest at room temperature for 15 to 30 minutes to allow flavors to infuse.
  5. Stir once more before serving with warm bread.
