Description
A refreshing blend of black tea, ripe mango, and juicy strawberries, inspired by Olive Garden’s famous Mango Strawberry Tea. Perfectly chilled, sweetened to taste, and bursting with tropical flavor, this drink is pure sunshine in a glass.
Ingredients
Scale
- 4 black tea bags
- 4 cups water
- 1 cup fresh mango, diced
- 1 cup fresh strawberries, sliced
- 1/2 cup simple syrup
- 2 cups ice cubes
- Lemon wedges (optional)
Instructions
- Boil 4 cups of water in a kettle or pot.
- Add black tea bags to the hot water and steep for 5 minutes, then remove the bags.
- In a pitcher, place sliced strawberries and diced mango, then muddle gently to release juices.
- Pour the brewed tea into the pitcher over the fruit.
- Stir in the simple syrup while the tea is still warm so it blends smoothly.
- Add ice cubes and stir until chilled.
- Pour into tall glasses, garnish with lemon wedges if desired, and serve.
Notes
- Use ripe mangoes for the sweetest flavor.
- Don’t over-muddle strawberries to avoid cloudiness.
- Sweeten with simple syrup instead of sugar for smooth blending.
- Double the recipe for parties as it disappears quickly!
