			- 1 pound elbow macaroni
 - 4 tablespoons butter
 - 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
 - 3 cups whole milk
 - 1 cup heavy cream
 - 3 cups shredded Vermont white cheddar cheese
 - 1 teaspoon salt
 - 1/4 teaspoon ground mustard
 - 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
 - 1/4 teaspoon paprika
 
Instructions
- Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and cook the macaroni until al dente. Drain and set aside.
 - In a medium saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Whisk in the flour and cook for 1–2 minutes until lightly golden.
 - Slowly pour in the warm milk and cream while whisking continuously until smooth and thickened.
 - Lower the heat and stir in shredded cheese, salt, mustard, and pepper until melted and creamy.
 - Add the cooked pasta to the cheese sauce and stir until fully coated.
 - Sprinkle with paprika and let sit for a few minutes to thicken before serving.
