Soft, buttery cinnamon rolls filled with juicy peaches and warm cinnamon, topped with a sweet glaze that tastes like a blend of peach pie and comfort food perfection.
Ingredients
Scale
- 4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup whole milk
- 2 1/4 teaspoons active dry yeast
- 1/3 cup granulated sugar
- 1/3 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 2 cups diced fresh peaches
- 3/4 cup brown sugar
- 2 teaspoons cinnamon
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 2 tablespoons cream or milk
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
- Mix warm milk, yeast, and sugar, then let sit until frothy. Add butter, eggs, and salt, then gradually add flour to form a soft dough.
- Knead on a floured surface for 5 minutes. Place in a greased bowl, cover, and let rise for 1 hour.
- Roll dough into a rectangle. Spread softened butter, sprinkle brown sugar and cinnamon, then spoon peach filling evenly.
- Roll up tightly and slice into 12 rolls. Arrange in baking dish and bake for 25–30 minutes until golden brown.
- Mix powdered sugar, vanilla, and cream to make glaze. Drizzle over slightly cooled rolls.
Notes
- Use ripe peaches for the best flavor.
- Glaze the rolls while they’re warm, not hot, for a perfect drizzle.
- Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
- To reheat, microwave for 20 seconds to bring back softness.
