Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter, softened
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup chopped pecans

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Cream butter, powdered sugar, and granulated sugar together until light and fluffy. Add vanilla and mix again.
  3. Stir in flour and salt until just combined, then fold in chopped pecans.
  4. Roll dough into 1-inch balls and place on the prepared baking sheet about 2 inches apart.
  5. Bake for 12 to 15 minutes until edges are lightly golden.
  6. Let cookies cool completely on the baking sheet, then transfer to a wire rack. Optional: dust with powdered sugar before serving.
