- 12 lasagna noodles
- 1 cup ricotta cheese
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 cup pepperoni slices
- 2 cups pizza sauce
- 1 large egg
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh basil for garnish
Instructions
- Boil the lasagna noodles until flexible but firm, then lay them flat.
- In a bowl, mix the ricotta, half the mozzarella, Parmesan, egg, garlic, salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning.
- Spread a thin layer of pizza sauce on the bottom of a baking dish.
- Spread sauce and the ricotta mixture on each noodle, then add pepperoni slices.
- Roll each noodle tightly and place seam side down in the baking dish.
- Top with the remaining sauce and mozzarella.
- Bake at 375°F for 20 minutes covered, then uncover and bake 10 to 15 minutes more.
- Let rest for 5 minutes, garnish with basil, and serve warm.
