Description

Ingredients

  • 12 lasagna noodles
  • 1 cup ricotta cheese
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup pepperoni slices
  • 2 cups pizza sauce
  • 1 large egg
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh basil for garnish

Instructions

  1. Boil the lasagna noodles until flexible but firm, then lay them flat.
  2. In a bowl, mix the ricotta, half the mozzarella, Parmesan, egg, garlic, salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning.
  3. Spread a thin layer of pizza sauce on the bottom of a baking dish.
  4. Spread sauce and the ricotta mixture on each noodle, then add pepperoni slices.
  5. Roll each noodle tightly and place seam side down in the baking dish.
  6. Top with the remaining sauce and mozzarella.
  7. Bake at 375°F for 20 minutes covered, then uncover and bake 10 to 15 minutes more.
  8. Let rest for 5 minutes, garnish with basil, and serve warm.
