  • 2 packages (3 oz each) ramen noodles, seasoning packets discarded
  • 1 pound beef sirloin, thinly sliced
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh ginger, grated
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1/2 cup green onions, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon cornstarch mixed with 2 teaspoons water

Instructions

  1. Heat a large skillet or wok over high heat with vegetable oil until shimmering.
  2. In a bowl, mix soy sauce, brown sugar, garlic, ginger, sesame oil, and the cornstarch slurry. Set aside.
  3. Add beef to hot skillet in a single layer. Cook 1–2 minutes per side until browned. Remove from pan.
  4. Cook ramen noodles according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  5. Add sauce mixture to skillet. Simmer for 1 minute until slightly thickened.
  6. Return beef to skillet along with cooked noodles. Toss to combine.
  7. Stir in green onions, toss again, and serve hot.
