Description
Sausage Biscuit Bites are the ultimate easy breakfast or brunch treat — soft, fluffy biscuit dough stuffed with savory sausage and melty cheese, baked into golden perfection. Perfect for meal prep, potlucks, or a grab-and-go morning bite!
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 lb breakfast sausage
- 1 can (16 oz) refrigerated biscuit dough
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/4 tsp garlic powder (optional)
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 2 tbsp chopped fresh parsley (optional, for garnish)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease a mini muffin pan.
- In a skillet over medium heat, cook the sausage until fully browned and crumbled. Drain excess grease and let cool slightly.
- Cut each biscuit in half and flatten into small circles.
- Place a spoonful of cooked sausage and a pinch of cheese in the center of each biscuit round. Fold the dough around the filling and pinch to seal into a ball.
- Place sealed side down onto the baking sheet or into the muffin cups.
- Sprinkle with garlic powder and black pepper if using.
- Bake for 12–15 minutes or until golden brown and cooked through.
- Garnish with chopped parsley if desired. Serve warm.
Notes
- Use spicy sausage for a kick of heat.
- These freeze well — reheat in the microwave or air fryer.
- Try adding a small cube of cream cheese for an extra creamy filling.
- Perfect for brunch boards or party platters.
