Description

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup (100 grams) granulated sugar
  • 2 cups (250 grams) all purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 325 degrees Fahrenheit (163 degrees Celsius) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, cream the softened butter and granulated sugar until light and smooth. Mix in the vanilla extract.
  3. Gradually add the all purpose flour and salt, mixing just until a soft dough forms. Do not overmix.
  4. Lightly flour a work surface and roll the dough to about 1/2 inch thickness.
  5. Cut into desired shapes and place onto the prepared baking sheet, leaving slight space between each cookie.
