- Vegetable oil for frying

Instructions
- Heat oil in a deep skillet or fryer to 350°F and line a plate with paper towels.
- In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, salt, and garlic powder. Add shredded Gouda, egg, and milk. Mix into a thick batter.
- Roll spoonfuls of batter in breadcrumbs for extra crunch.
- Fry 3–4 fritters at a time for 2–3 minutes per side until golden brown. Remove and drain on paper towels.
- In a separate bowl, whisk mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, honey, and balsamic vinegar until smooth. Season with salt and pepper.
- Serve the fritters warm with the dipping sauce on the side.
