Description

A tender, buttery tart crust filled with luscious white chocolate cream and topped with juicy, fresh strawberries. Light, elegant, and perfect for any occasion.


Ingredients

  • 200g all-purpose flour
  • 100g unsalted butter, cold and cubed
  • 70g powdered sugar
  • 1 large egg yolk
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 250ml heavy cream
  • 250g white chocolate, chopped
  • 300g fresh strawberries, hulled and halved
  • Powdered sugar, for dusting (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly grease a tart pan.
  2. In a bowl, mix flour and powdered sugar. Add cold butter and rub with fingertips until the mixture is crumbly.
  3. Add egg yolk and vanilla extract. Knead lightly until dough forms. Chill for 20 minutes.
  4. Roll out the dough and press into the tart pan. Prick the base with a fork.
  5. Blind bake using pie weights for 15 minutes. Remove weights and bake another 10 minutes. Let cool.
  6. Heat the heavy cream until hot, then pour over chopped white chocolate. Let sit 1 minute, then stir until smooth.
  7. Pour the cream into the cooled crust and smooth it out. Chill for at least 2 hours until set.
  8. Top with fresh strawberries and dust with powdered sugar before serving.

  • Chill the dough before baking to prevent shrinkage.
  • Use quality white chocolate for best texture and flavor.
  • Add lemon zest to the cream for a citrusy twist.
