- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, combine flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, milk, and vanilla extract until smooth.
- Pour melted butter into a 9×9 inch baking dish. Do not stir.
- Pour the batter over the butter.
- Layer sliced bananas evenly over the top.
- Sprinkle brown sugar and cinnamon evenly for extra flavor.
- Bake for 40–45 minutes, until the top is golden and the edges are bubbling.
- Let it rest for 10 minutes before serving warm with ice cream or whipped cream.
Notes

- Do not stir the batter into the butter, this creates that classic cobbler texture.
