Description

Ingredients

  • 2 beef steaks (about 200 g each)
  • 200 g mushrooms, sliced
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 120 ml beef broth
  • 120 ml heavy cream
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions

  1. Season the beef steaks evenly with salt and black pepper.
  2. Heat a heavy skillet over medium high heat, then add olive oil and butter.
  3. Sear the steaks for 3 to 4 minutes per side until cooked to your preference, then remove and set aside.
  4. In the same skillet, add mushrooms and garlic and cook until softened.
  5. Pour in the beef broth, Dijon mustard, and Worcestershire sauce, stirring to combine.
  6. Add the heavy cream and simmer gently until the sauce thickens.
  7. Return the steaks to the skillet and spoon the sauce over them.
  8. Finish with chopped parsley and serve immediately.
