Description

Strawberry Pretzel Salad is a nostalgic, no-bake layered dessert with a salty-sweet pretzel crust, creamy whipped filling, and fresh strawberries set in jello. It’s the perfect chilled treat for any gathering.

  • 2 ½ cups salted pretzels, crushed
  • ¾ cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 3 tablespoons granulated sugar (for crust)
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • ¾ cup granulated sugar (for filling)
  • 8 ounces whipped topping, thawed
  • 6 ounces strawberry gelatin (Jello)
  • 2 cups fresh strawberries, sliced
  • 2 cups boiling water

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F. Lightly grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.
  2. Crush pretzels and mix with melted butter and 3 tablespoons sugar. Press into the baking dish and bake for 10 minutes. Cool completely.
  3. In a bowl, beat cream cheese and ¾ cup sugar until smooth. Fold in whipped topping. Spread over cooled crust, sealing edges.
  4. Dissolve gelatin in boiling water. Let cool until slightly thickened, about 30 minutes.
  5. Arrange sliced strawberries over the cream layer. Gently spoon gelatin over strawberries.
  6. Chill for at least 4 hours or until fully set.
  7. Slice and serve cold. Enjoy!
