- 2 ripe bananas, sliced
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 1 cup strong coffee or espresso, chilled
- 1/2 cup milk or cream
- 1 cup ice cubes
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon (optional)
Instructions
- Set a nonstick pan over medium heat to preheat.
- Add butter and brown sugar to the pan, stirring until melted and bubbling.
- Slice bananas and place them gently into the caramel mixture.
- Cook until the bananas turn golden and sticky, then transfer to a blender.
- Blend bananas with vanilla and a splash of milk until smooth.
- In a tall glass, layer ice cubes, banana puree, chilled coffee, and remaining milk. Stir gently.
- Sprinkle cinnamon on top before serving and enjoy.
