Crispy bang bang shrimp tossed in a creamy sweet and spicy sauce. A bold and flavorful appetizer or main dish.
Ingredients

- 1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 1/2 cup cornstarch
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- Vegetable oil for frying
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 1/4 cup sweet chili sauce
- 1 to 2 teaspoons sriracha
- 1 teaspoon rice vinegar, optional
Instructions
- Mix mayonnaise, sweet chili sauce, sriracha, and rice vinegar in a bowl.
- Pat shrimp dry and season with salt and pepper.
- Dip shrimp in beaten egg, then coat with cornstarch.
- Heat oil in skillet over medium high heat.
- Fry shrimp in batches for 2 to 3 minutes per side until golden.
- Drain shrimp on paper towels.
- Toss warm shrimp with sauce until coated.
- Serve immediately.
Notes
- Do not overcrowd pan.
- Toss in sauce just before serving.
- Adjust spice level to taste.
