Description

This Cheesy Cauli Bread is golden, tender, and packed with savory flavor. Made with riced cauliflower, mozzarella, parmesan, and simple seasonings, it bakes into a sliceable, cheesy bread alternative that is naturally gluten free and perfect as a snack, side, or base for toppings.


Ingredients

  • 1 large head cauliflower, about 900 grams, riced
  • 200 grams mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 50 grams parmesan cheese, grated
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 200°C and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Rice the cauliflower using a box grater or food processor until fine.
  3. Microwave the riced cauliflower for 5 minutes until softened.
  4. Transfer the cooked cauliflower to a clean kitchen towel and squeeze out as much moisture as possible.
  5. In a large mixing bowl, combine the drained cauliflower, shredded mozzarella, grated parmesan, eggs, garlic powder, dried oregano, salt, and black pepper.
  6. Mix thoroughly until evenly combined.
  7. Spread the mixture onto the prepared baking sheet, shaping it into a rectangle about 1 centimeter thick.
  8. Bake for 20 to 25 minutes until golden and set.
  9. For extra cheesiness, optionally sprinkle a small amount of additional mozzarella on top and bake for 5 more minutes until melted.
  10. Allow to cool slightly before slicing and serving.
