Ingredients

- 3 romaine hearts, halved lengthwise
- 3 tablespoons olive oil, divided
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 1/2 cups cherry tomatoes, finely chopped
- 1 tablespoon red wine vinegar
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons fresh basil, chopped
Instructions
- Preheat grill to medium high.
- Brush romaine with oil and season.
- Grill cut side down 2 to 3 minutes.
- Mix tomatoes, oil, vinegar, garlic, and basil.
- Spoon vinaigrette over grilled romaine and serve.
Notes
- Do not overgrill lettuce.
- Serve immediately after grilling.
- Use ripe tomatoes for best flavor.
