Instructions
- Chill a mixing bowl for whipping the cream.
- Whisk the lemon pudding mix with 2 cups cold milk until thickened.
- In a separate bowl, whip heavy cream with powdered sugar until soft peaks form.
- Place a layer of sponge cake cubes in a trifle bowl and lightly brush with fresh lemon juice.
- Add a layer of lemon pudding, followed by sliced strawberries, then whipped cream.
- Repeat the layers until all ingredients are used, finishing with whipped cream on top.
- Sprinkle lemon zest and garnish with extra strawberry slices.
- Refrigerate for at least 3 hours before serving.
