Description
Crispy golden lumpia filled with seasoned ground meat and vegetables, wrapped in thin pastry and fried until perfectly crunchy.
Ingredients

- 1 pound ground pork or chicken
- 1/2 cup finely grated carrots
- 1 cup finely shredded green cabbage
- 1/4 cup finely chopped onion
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 20 to 25 lumpia wrappers
- Vegetable oil for frying
Instructions
- Heat about 2 inches of vegetable oil in a skillet over medium heat.
- Mix ground meat, carrots, cabbage, onion, garlic, soy sauce, salt, and black pepper in a bowl.
- Place filling on wrapper, fold bottom corner over, tuck sides, and roll tightly. Seal edge with water.
- Repeat with remaining wrappers.
- Fry in batches for 3 to 4 minutes per side until golden brown and cooked through.
- Drain on paper towels and serve warm.
Notes
- Roll tightly to prevent oil from entering.
- Keep wrappers covered while working.
