Martha Stewart’s One-Pan Pasta made with spaghetti, cherry tomatoes, basil, and garlic cooked together in a single skillet.
Ingredients

- 12 ounces spaghetti
- 1 pint cherry tomatoes, halved
- 1 small yellow onion, thinly sliced
- 4 cloves garlic, thinly sliced
- 1/2 cup fresh basil leaves
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes
- 4 1/2 cups water
- Grated Parmesan cheese for serving
Instructions
- Place spaghetti, cherry tomatoes, onion, garlic, basil, olive oil, salt, red pepper flakes, and water in a large skillet.
- Bring to a boil over medium high heat.
- Reduce to simmer and cook 9 to 12 minutes, stirring frequently.
- Cook until pasta is al dente and liquid has reduced to a light sauce.
- Taste and adjust seasoning.
- Serve immediately with grated Parmesan.
Notes
- Use a wide skillet for even cooking.
- Stir frequently to prevent sticking.
- Add water if sauce reduces too quickly.
- Best served fresh.
