- 1 sheet store bought puff pastry, thawed
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar, plus extra for sprinkling
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F and sprinkle surface with sugar.
- Place puff pastry on sugar and sprinkle more on top.
- Roll gently to press sugar into dough.
- Fold both sides inward twice, then fold in half to form log.
- Chill 15 to 20 minutes and slice into 1/2 inch pieces.
- Bake 12 to 15 minutes until golden, flipping if needed.
- Cool completely before serving.
Notes
- Keep pastry cold for clean slices.
- Flip during baking for even caramelization.
- Best enjoyed fresh.
