Description

Silky smooth panna cotta made with cream, vanilla, and gelatin for an elegant no bake dessert.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup whole milk
  • 1/3 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 1/4 teaspoons unflavored gelatin
  • 3 tablespoons cold water
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract or 1 vanilla bean

Instructions

  1. Bloom gelatin in cold water.
  2. Heat cream, milk, and sugar gently until sugar dissolves.
  3. Stir in softened gelatin and vanilla.
  4. Strain and pour into molds.
  5. Chill at least 4 hours.
  6. Unmold and serve with topping.

Notes

  • Do not boil cream mixture.
  • Chill fully before unmolding.
  • Serve with fruit or sauce.
