Description

Golden, flaky puff pastry wrapped around juicy cocktail sausages, baked until perfectly crisp and irresistibly savory. These bite-sized favorites are easy to make and perfect for parties, gatherings, or cozy nights in.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 sheet puff pastry, thawed
  • 24 cocktail sausages
  • 1 large egg, beaten
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. If using Dijon mustard, lightly brush a thin layer over the puff pastry sheet.
  3. Unfold the puff pastry on a lightly floured surface and cut into 24 even strips.
  4. Place one cocktail sausage at the end of each strip and roll it up snugly. Arrange seam side down on the prepared baking sheet.
  5. Brush each roll with beaten egg for a golden finish.
  6. Bake for 15 to 18 minutes until puffed and deeply golden brown.
  7. Allow to cool slightly before serving warm.

Notes

  • Chill assembled rolls for 10 minutes before baking for extra flakiness.
  • Sprinkle sesame seeds or poppy seeds on top before baking for added texture.
  • Reheat leftovers in the oven at 350°F (175°C) for about 8 minutes to restore crispness.
