Ingredients

  • 1 cup pumpkin puree
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 450 grams cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup sour cream

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 175 degrees Celsius and prepare springform pan.
  2. Mix pumpkin cake batter and spread in pan.
  3. Beat cream cheese and sugar until smooth, add eggs, vanilla, and sour cream.
  4. Spread cheesecake mixture over pumpkin layer.
  5. Bake 55 to 65 minutes until center is set.
  6. Cool completely and refrigerate at least 4 hours before slicing.

  • Use room temperature cream cheese.
  • Do not overmix cheesecake batter.
  • Chill fully before slicing.
