Description

Festive mini pumpkin pie turkeys decorated with candy for a fun Thanksgiving dessert.


Ingredients

  • 1 package refrigerated pie crust, enough for 12 mini crusts
  • 1 cup canned pumpkin puree
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1/3 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 24 candy corn pieces
  • 24 chocolate candy pieces for feathers
  • 12 candy eyes
  • 2 tablespoons melted chocolate

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
  2. Cut pie crust and press into muffin tin.
  3. Whisk pumpkin puree, cream, sugar, egg, spice, and vanilla.
  4. Fill crusts and bake 18 to 22 minutes.
  5. Cool completely.
  6. Decorate with chocolate candies, candy eyes, and candy corn using melted chocolate.
  7. Allow decorations to set before serving.

Notes

  • Do not overbake.
  • Cool before decorating.
  • Store refrigerated up to 3 days.
