Description

Ingredients

  • 3 cups fresh or frozen green peas
  • 1/4 cup finely diced red onion
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro
  • 1 teaspoon chaat masala
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
  • 1 cup plain Greek yogurt
  • 1 teaspoon lemon zest
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. Bring water to a boil and cook peas for 2 to 3 minutes until tender. Drain and cool slightly.
  2. Toss peas with olive oil, red onion, cilantro, chaat masala, cumin, salt, and lemon juice.
  3. Whisk yogurt with lemon zest, lemon juice, salt, and black pepper.
  4. Spoon pea mixture into serving bowl and top with lemon raita.
  5. Swirl gently and serve fresh.
